  • Lazarus P Bach Cemetery

This private family cemetery is located at NOCTOR (Hwy. 30E), Breathitt County, KY. 200 or so people are buried here. While primarily a Bach/Back Cemetery-- A variety of surnames related to the Bach/Backs are buried here, not limited to Clemons, Houndshell, Davidson, Craft and Truesdell. Space is limited. It is located off HWY 30E , down a road and up a hill. Very peaceful and quiet.

Not to be confused with the much larger Miles Back Cemetery located at Quicksand, KY, which contains the remains of 400 or more people. There are 14 different Back Cemeteries in the county of Breathitt according to Dr. Stephen Bowling.
